Who we are

Chest ("we", "us") provides a Telegram bot and web app that lets groups coordinate pooled funds on Solana. Contact: support@chest.chat.

Data we collect

• Email and optional profile fields (name, Telegram, Twitter, wallet) that you submit on our waitlist or site.
• Telegram metadata provided by the Telegram Bot API (e.g. user id, username, chat id) when you interact with our bot.
• Public blockchain data on Solana related to your wallet addresses and transactions.
• Basic log data for security and abuse prevention (IP address, user agent).

How we use data

• Operate the waitlist, send transactional emails, and provide support.
• Power bot features (proposals, voting, execution) and prevent spam/abuse.
• Generate a deterministic referral code tied to your email for waitlist attribution.
• Analyze aggregated usage to improve the product.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We never take custody of your private keys.

Data sharing

We may share data with service providers strictly to operate the product (e.g., email delivery, analytics) under contractual confidentiality. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Blockchain specifics

Interactions on Solana are public and immutable. On-chain data may be permanently viewable by anyone. Do not submit sensitive information on-chain.

Retention

We retain account and operational data for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of off-chain data by emailing support@chest.chat. On-chain data cannot be deleted.

Your choices

• Opt out of non-essential email via the link in the message.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your off-chain data by contacting us.

International transfers

We may process data in the United States and other countries. We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information consistent with applicable laws.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
